The purpose of this humble publication is to remind oneself that we can, just because we feel it to be right. It is for us, the most important part of the lives we have chosen to lead. The freedom of choice, the rebellion, the independence, the truth.

Edwin and Folk have been friends for a while now and in a sense of good old fashioned idea sharing we have joined forces with the first of several mini capsule collections.

We have been let loose on some of the popular styles of Folk’s sister footwear brand, Shofolk to create three men’s shoes and one women’s styles incorporating classic denim detailing. Folk have used our Japanese denim heritage to the full to put their stamp on two styles of denim in two washes.

Each issue will be ‘art directed’ by a guest. The first issue of ‘ED’ zine, has been art directed by ‘Benjamin J Robinson, aka Machine17’, a contributing artist and photographer for EDWIN.
