My Obsession with wrestling... it all started when I was doing a loose photography project on conventions... i was intrigued by the idea of one day a year when everyone gets together to celebrate their favourite hobby, puts on their best clothes, goes to bed early the night before - recapturing that feeling youhad regularly as a child but rarely attain as an adult.

"In wrestling, as on the stage in antiquity, one is not ashamed of one's suffering, one knows how to cry, one has a liking for tears."

Photographs by Rufus Exton Esq.
